Tiger wrestlers win first Kansas Cup
WICHITA — The Fort Hays State University wrestling team won the inaugural Kansas Cup on Sunday. The state’s seven wrestling programs (NCAA Division II, NAIA, NJCAA) competed at Newman University. Fort Hays State won with 134 1/2 points and was followed by Labette Co. with 126.

State unveils first new traffic signal in 40 years
Minnesota officially turned on the state’s first new type of traffic signal in 40 years in Lake Elmo today. It’s a flashing yellow arrow, intended to make left turns safer and easier. The signal is expected to eventually blink on in traffic lights statewide.
