    Injured Vikings WR Sidney Rice out for at least six games
    EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Sidney Rice will be ineligible to play in the first six games of the regular season. The team put Rice on the physically unable to perform list Tuesday. He had hip surgery last week and is expected to need at least two months of recovery.

    Six injured in wrong-way accident
    A suspected truck thief speeding the wrong way on a Kansas City highway Tuesday afternoon caused a spectacular multi-vehicle crash that seriously injured six people. The crash shut down the southbound lanes of U.S. 71 for most of the afternoon as investigators tried to untangle the knot of mangled vehicles at 55th Street.
