Robbery suspect shot by police still in critical condition
A 40-year-old suspect in an armed robbery who was shot multiple times by Kansas City police Wednesday evening remains in critical but stable condition, authorities said today. Police said the man held up a Popeye’s Chicken restaurant at 101st Street and State Line Road just before 10 p.m. Witnesses told police the gunman ran through a residential area east of the restaurant.
